Desiderata for Strikes (1 of 3) — "Unblockable"
What makes a strike hard to see coming, and why.
Techanique / films, demonstrations & commentary
Watch Dr. J. L. Natale translate mechanics into visible questions about timing, alignment, impact, and usable force, without reducing athletic technique to a slogan.
Owned media from Techanique Consulting. Demonstrations illustrate technical questions; they do not constitute universal performance claims or medical advice.

Featured film series
A longer-form examination of what makes a strike difficult to read and what makes the impact itself matter. The films establish the problem space in Joe's own words.

What makes a strike hard to see coming, and why.
Desiderata for Strikes (2 of 3) — "Impactful"
The impact phase: turning motion into delivered force.
A better way to watch
The most visible action is not always the most important mechanism. These four questions create a more disciplined lens for the films and demonstrations.
Watch when the athlete organizes, accelerates, and becomes structurally ready for contact, not only how fast the limb moves.
Look for whether the body arrives as a connected system or whether visible movement hides a break in the transfer chain.
The decisive moment is brief. Pay attention to what changes at impact, where force is either transmitted or dissipated.
Ask how much of the athlete is functionally present behind the strike, lift, or movement outcome at the critical instant.
Short demonstrations
Brief visual notes from the gym, the platform, and the applied research process. Each clip is a starting point for a better technical question, not a universal cue.
